Bringing the fairytales of childhood to the big screen, Disney created a world especially for children, but people of all ages were enchanted by the animation, which ranged from “Cinderella” and “Snow White” to the classic stories of “Peter Pan” and “Pinocchio.” Talking animals became a common theme of Disney movies.
Transitioning into relevant topics with “The Parent Trap,” “Inside Out,” and “Turning Red,” introducing different cultures through “Brave,” “Moana,” “Encanto,” and more, Disney has provided a platform for discussions for all ages, as well as delightful fun and entertainment.
Many of these treasured stories and characters are also available in print. Our children’s collection holds many of the original Disney tales. Additional adventures may be found in “Disney Princess 5-minute Princess Stories” or “The Anna & Elsa” series.
